Yes, the Copacabana in New York is still open: since February 2022 it has been at 625 W 51st St in Hell's Kitchen, and in 2026 it had Saturday events listed on RA in April and August and more nights listed for November. It's a Latin club for salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton and dembow, with reggaeton on Saturdays.

How to Get to Copacabana
The address is 625 W 51st St, New York, on the far west side of Hell's Kitchen, near the Hudson. Saturday nights are listed from 10pm to 4am, and 4am is also New York's legal last call for alcohol (ABC Law §106).
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
The usual guidance is dress to impress: this is a Latin night out, not a sneakers-and-hoodie club. Bring a physical ID.
A famous name on West 51st Street
The Copacabana is one of New York's most famous club names, first opened in 1940, and it has moved several times since. Today's Copa has been at 625 W 51st St, on the western edge of Hell's Kitchen near the river, since February 2022. A lot of people search whether it's still open: it is. RA listed its Saturday “Copacabana Immersive Experience” on April 25 and August 8, 2026, and nights are listed into late November 2026. Be careful with the old copacabanany.com address: it no longer leads to the club.
Latin nights from salsa to dembow
Copacabana is a Latin club through and through: salsa, bachata and merengue for the dancers, and reggaeton and dembow for the later crowd. Saturday is the reggaeton night, listed from 10pm to 4am. It's a different night out from the hip-hop and EDM clubs a few blocks away, closer to what NEXO in the Garment District or SOB's in Hudson Square do.
