Bounce Beach is a summer day club in downtown Montauk at 148 S Emerson Ave, a block from the Atlantic, in the spot that used to be the Sloppy Tuna. Its website says it opens seasonally in the hot summer months. In 2026 its Daylife Saturdays ran from 1pm to 7pm with DJs, and the season closed over Labor Day weekend. It's closed now, and 2027 dates aren't out yet.

VIP Tables at Bounce Beach Montauk
Time Out wrote that Bounce Beach has VIP tables you can book if you want to go all out, and its parties draw a lot of bachelor and bachelorette groups. Message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are, and we'll tell you what's possible once the 2027 season opens.
How to Get to Bounce Beach Montauk
Bounce Beach is at 148 S Emerson Ave in Montauk, a block from the ocean, close to downtown Montauk. Montauk is the eastern end of the Long Island Rail Road's Montauk Branch. Day parties end in the early evening, which leaves time for dinner in town.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
Event listings for summer 2026 gave the dress code as "beach chic": summer clothes that work for a rooftop party in the afternoon. Bring ID. If you're not sure about a particular outfit, ask us on WhatsApp.
Montauk's rooftop day club, in the old Sloppy Tuna spot
Bounce Beach sits at 148 S Emerson Ave in downtown Montauk, a block from the Atlantic Ocean. For years this was the Sloppy Tuna; the property changed hands in November 2022, and Time Out now lists Bounce Beach in the former Sloppy Tuna spot. Its draw is the rooftop: Time Out wrote that the music from Bounce's rooftop pulls people in from downtown, that a DJ plays nearly every night and most afternoons, and that the parties appeal to bachelor and bachelorette groups, group trips and visitors. Brunch and dinner are also served. Its own website, listed under the Bounce Sporting Club group, sums up the calendar in one line: open seasonally during the hot summer months. Outside summer there's nothing on, so this is a venue for a June-to-September Montauk trip.
Daylife Saturdays and the big summer weekends
The core of the Bounce Beach summer is Daylife, the daytime party. In 2026 the listings ran Bounce Beach Daylife Saturdays all summer, from 1pm to 7pm, with DJs playing EDM and open format. Holiday weekends got extra dates. Over the Fourth of July weekend there was an Independence Day edition with DJ A-Craze, and Labor Day weekend closed the season with two parties: Lost Kings on Saturday, September 5 and Cid on Sunday, September 6 from 1pm. Events in earlier years also included Wednesdays, so the schedule can change from one summer to the next. For 2027 nothing is announced yet. If you are planning a birthday, a bachelorette or a group weekend in Montauk, message us early and we'll tell you when the dates come out.
Tables, groups and how to plan it
Bounce Beach takes Daylife and nightlife reservations through its website, and Time Out notes VIP tables for groups who want to go all out. We keep it simple: tell us on WhatsApp the date, how many you are and whether you want a table or just entry for the day party, and we'll tell you what's possible once the 2027 season is on. Event listings asked for beach chic clothes in 2026, so dress for a summer rooftop, not for the sand. Day parties finish in the early evening, which fits a Montauk weekend well: you can head to dinner and then on to the evening spots in town. The Surf Lodge, on Fort Pond, and Gurney's Beach Club, at Gurney's Montauk Resort, are the other two summer venues we cover in Montauk.
