It is on the same site, 140 Stewart Ave, but it is a new club. Avant Gardner, the Mirage's operator, filed for Chapter 11 in August 2025, and Pacha New York opened there in June 2026. One condition of its license is that it cannot use the name "Mirage".

From the Brooklyn Mirage to Pacha New York

The Brooklyn Mirage, the open-air club at 140 Stewart Ave, did not open in 2025: its operator Avant Gardner filed for Chapter 11 that August, and by March 2026 Brooklyn Magazine was reporting an empty lot. The Pacha group took over the site and announced a first season from June to October 2026. Pacha New York opened with a pre-opening weekend on June 13–14 with Rampa and a sold-out opening on June 20–21, 2026. The lineups through the summer leaned on house and techno: Rampa, Prospa, Danny Tenaglia, and Joe Claussell back to back with François K. The open-air season is over for 2026, and the indoor room takes over from November.

Brooklyn Pacha: the indoor season

Brooklyn Pacha is the indoor hall in the former Great Hall of Avant Gardner, with room for more than 2,600 people, according to the opening coverage. Billboard called it Brooklyn Hall at Pacha New York in July 2026. The venue's own agenda opens it on Friday, November 6, 2026, with Loco Dice, Ilario Alicante and HoneyLuv, then Louie Vega, Oscar G and Victor Calderone on Saturday, November 7. November continues with Miss Monique, Madeon, Luciano, Guy Gerber and Mathame, and December lists Damian Lazarus with Maceo Plex, Nic Fanciulli and Nora En Pure. Every event is listed from 10pm to 4am, on Fridays and Saturdays.

The license, honestly

Pacha New York operates under a temporary, conditional liquor license that the State Liquor Authority approved in late May 2026. Brooklyn Paper listed the conditions: one show per night, ticket sales capped at the real capacity, music until 2am from Sunday to Wednesday, no late-night fireworks, a complaints line and a monthly log, and no use of the Mirage name. Pacha also gave up Avant Gardner's old license. The SLA said the monthly logs would be reviewed when the permanent application comes up, with no date given, and Pacha was not on Community Board 1's October 28, 2026 liquor agenda.
