Copacabana: is it still open?

Yes. The Copacabana, New York's most famous Latin club name, has been at 625 W 51st St since February 2022. It plays salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton and dembow on event nights, with reggaeton on Saturdays from 10pm to 4am according to event listings, and Resident Advisor listed its 'Copacabana Immersive Experience' on Saturdays in April and August 2026. The door asks for a physical ID and says 'dress to impress'. One warning: an old Copacabana web address now redirects to an unrelated store, so don't buy through it.

Reggaeton in Manhattan: NEXO, The DL and Out of Ordinary

NEXO, on the 9th floor of 29 W 36th St, splits its Saturday in two: reggaeton and dembow upstairs, Afrobeats and amapiano on the floor below. It is listed with event dates into December 2026. The DL, at 95 Delancey St, has three floors and a retractable roof, with reggaeton on Friday and Saturday and open format on the rooftop; its door is one of the strictest we found. Out of Ordinary in Flatiron ran Latin & Reggaeton Fridays this fall.

Musica and Somewhere Nowhere

Musica, the three-floor Hell's Kitchen superclub, puts Latin, R&B and hip-hop on its lower floor while the upper floors book house and techno; it hosted a Colombian Independence Day party in July 2026. On Sundays, Somewhere Nowhere's Loco Carnaval brings Latin house to its 38th-floor rooftop. Nublu in Alphabet City runs Latin Wednesdays.

Queens and the Bronx

In Astoria, Code Astoria plays Latin, hip-hop and top 40 from Friday to Sunday. Amazura, an event hall in Jamaica, hosts Latin and Caribbean nights run by promoters on select dates. In the Bronx, Salsa Con Fuego on Cedar Ave mixes Latin concerts with salsa, bachata and dembow nights. For Latin queer nights, Hombres Lounge in Jackson Heights has DJs and go-go dancers.
