In the Times Square area
Paradise Club is the only club inside Times Square itself, on the 7th floor of the Times Square EDITION hotel. It starts as an immersive cabaret show and turns into a DJ club with EDM and top 40 on Friday and Saturday nights; the nearest subway stops are 49th Street (N, R, W) and Times Square–42nd Street. Nebula, at 135 W 41st St, is a few minutes' walk south: about 10,000 sq ft over three floors wrapped in LED, with house, EDM, current rap and top 40 depending on the night, and the long-running Tuesday BABY Tuesday.
Garment District: NEXO
NEXO, on the 9th floor of 29 W 36th St, is a short walk south of Times Square. On Saturdays it plays reggaeton and dembow upstairs and Afrobeats and amapiano downstairs.
West 46th to 51st, by the river
The big Midtown clubs are not in Times Square but west of it, near the Hudson. Harbor, at 621 W 46th St between 11th and 12th Avenues, is a club with a retractable glass roof and The Stafford Room upstairs, playing hip-hop, R&B and top 40. Musica, at 637 W 50th St, is a three-floor superclub of about 25,000 sq ft with a rooftop. Copacabana, at 625 W 51st St since 2022, is the city's best-known Latin club. From Times Square it is a long walk or a short cab ride.
Midtown West: Silencio
Silencio, at 303 W 57th St, is the New York sister of the Paris club, open since February 2024 with interiors by Harry Nuriev, DJs, live acts and art. It opens Thursday to Saturday and works by table.
Hell's Kitchen gay bars
Hell's Kitchen, directly west of Times Square, is Manhattan's gay corridor along 9th Ave between 42nd and 57th Streets. Industry Bar (355 W 52nd St) opens daily from 5pm with drag shows around 11pm; HUSH is across the street at 348 W 52nd St; Hardware (697 10th Ave) has late Friday dance parties.
