Chrystie Street: The Box and Outer Heaven
Two of the LES's best-known rooms share a block. The Box, at 189 Chrystie St, is a cabaret with burlesque, drag and late-night shows between DJ sets; it books by table, and listings say walking in without a reservation is unlikely. Next door at number 191, Outer Heaven is a 140-person house, disco and techno club opened in 2023, with sound by the founder of Cielo and Output. It opens Wednesday to Saturday from 8pm, until 3am on Wednesday and 4am the other nights.

Delancey and Grand: The DL and Virgo
The DL, at 95 Delancey St, has three floors and a retractable roof, with reggaeton on Friday and Saturday and open format upstairs; it held Rooftop Saturdays this fall. Its dress code is one of the strictest in the city (no athletic or baggy clothes, caps, hoodies, jerseys, cargo pants, shorts or backpacks). Don't confuse it with The Delancey, a different venue further along at 168 Delancey St. A few blocks south, Virgo (324 Grand St) plays house and electronic music on a VOID sound system from Thursday to Saturday; Resident Advisor lists its capacity at 350.

The Bowery: Loosie's
Loosie's, under the Moxy Lower East Side at 145 Bowery, is a Tao Group club open Thursday to Sunday, 11pm to 4am, with hip-hop, R&B and open format and a late Sunday Service party.

Orchard Street: The Club at Mr Purple
On the 14th floor of the Hotel Indigo Lower East Side, at 180 Orchard St, The Club has rotating DJs from 11pm on Friday and Saturday, with views to match. Hotel Chantelle, a few streets away at 92 Ludlow St, still appears in listings, but we found no dated 2026 event, so we are leaving it out until we can confirm it.

What closed
Katra Lounge, at 217 Bowery, reportedly held its last night on Dec 31, 2024; we found no activity since.
