What part of Brooklyn is Bushwick?

Bushwick is in North Brooklyn, east of Williamsburg, and its eastern edge along Wyckoff Avenue is the border with Ridgewood, Queens. The L and M trains serve its nightlife streets. That makes it easy to combine with East Williamsburg's warehouse clubs or with Ridgewood's Nowadays and H0L0.

Jefferson Street and Wyckoff: Elsewhere and House of Yes

Elsewhere opened in 2017 at 599 Johnson Ave. It has several rooms (The Hall holds about 700 people), a summer rooftop, concerts early and club nights late, mainly on Fridays and Saturdays. Bring a scannable photo ID or a passport, and know that some exits are final.

House of Yes has been at 2 Wyckoff Ave since 2015, with the entrance on 408 Jefferson St. It builds its nights around circus, cabaret and drag over house and disco, with a theme every weekend. Dress for the theme, keep your phone away on the dance floor, and plan to stay: there is no re-entry.

Myrtle Avenue: Bossa Nova Civic Club and Mood Ring

Bossa Nova Civic Club, at 1271 Myrtle Ave under the M train, has been a 140-person techno, house and experimental room since December 2012, open nightly with the club starting later in the evening. Next door, Mood Ring (1260 Myrtle Ave) is an astrology-themed cocktail bar with a real dance floor, house and techno most nights, and later hours on weekends.

Broadway: Paragon and Cafe Erzulie

Paragon, at 990 Broadway, closed in April 2025 and reopened that August in partnership with Detroit techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson. It runs techno, house, drum & bass and Jersey club parties on Friday and Saturday events. Down the street, Cafe Erzulie (894 Broadway) starts with jazz and turns into an Afro-Caribbean party after 10pm, Thursday to Saturday.

Starr and Troutman: Xanadu, The Sultan Room and Lot 45

Xanadu Roller Arts (262 Starr St) mixes roller disco, club nights and concerts, and hosted Body & SOUL's 30th anniversary. The Sultan Room (234 Starr St) is mostly a live room with a sunken dance floor, with club parties on some nights. Lot 45 (411 Troutman St) is the area's hip-hop and Caribbean option on weekends, with an RSVP list for some parties.

Flushing Avenue: Jupiter Disco

Jupiter Disco, at 1237 Flushing Ave since 2017, is a cocktail bar with DJs and an audiophile sound system playing disco, synth and electronic music, Wednesday to Sunday. It asks guests to keep phones to a minimum.
